Apparently, Visonic codesecure keyfobs have a much poorer transmission range than the Visonic sensors, which frequently leads to incorrect codes being received by the RFXCom receiver. Although the user should ofcourse work to improve reception of his/her receiver, xpl-rfxcom currently doesn't handle this garbled data well, which frequently results in an xpl-trig x10.security message containing the wrong keyfob address and command. In paragraph 8.1 of the RFXCom Visonic Receiver documentation (http://www.rfxcom.com/documents/Visonic%20RF%20receiver.pdf) there's mentioning of parity bits, which might be used to reduce the chance of messages. Is it possible to add a parity check to the Visonic codesecure code? |
